Cranberry Walnut Bread

dried cranberries
For baking
Instructions
- Combine the dry ingredients in a large bowl, excluding cornmeal.
- Add water and stir until a shaggy dough forms.
- Let the dough sit covered at room temperature for 2 hours.
- Turn the dough out onto a floured surface and fold it a few times to shape it.
- Shape the dough into one large or two small balls.
- Place the shaped dough on a cornmeal-sprinkled baking sheet and let it rise for at least 1 hour.
- Preheat the oven to 450 degrees Fahrenheit.
- Make slits on top of the dough, brush with water, and bake for about 30 minutes until golden brown.
- Cool the bread on a wire rack.
