Ingredients

Dry Ingredients

  • 2 ½ cups whole wheat flour
  • 1 tsp baking powder
  • 1 tsp baking soda
  • ½ tsp salt
  • ½ tsp ground cinnamon
  • a dash nutmeg
  • 1 cup quick cooking oats

Wet Ingredients

  • ¾ cup honey
  • cup plain Greek yogurt
  • 2 large eggs
  • ½ cup fat-free milk

Fruit

  • 2 cups fresh cranberries (or 1 cup dried)

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F and grease a 9x5 inch loaf pan.
  2. In a medium bowl, combine the flour, baking powder, baking soda, salt, cinnamon, nutmeg, and oats.
  3. In a large bowl, mix together the honey, yogurt, eggs, and milk.
  4. Add the dry ingredients to the wet mixture and stir until just moistened.
  5. Fold in the cranberries and pour the batter into the prepared loaf pan.
  6. Bake for about 40 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted in the center comes out clean.
