No Bake Granola Bars

The base

creamy peanut butter or almond butter

honey or pure maple syrup

quick oats or rolled oats

ground flaxseed

wheat germ or additional 2 tablespoons oats

ground cinnamon

Mix-ins

mix-ins of choice (dried cranberries, nuts, chocolate chips, etc.)
Instructions
- Line an 8×8 inch baking pan with parchment paper.
- In a saucepan, heat the peanut butter and honey, whisking until smooth, then stir in the vanilla.
- In a large bowl, combine the oats, flaxseed, wheat germ, cinnamon, and salt.
- Chop any mix-ins that are larger than a chickpea and stir them into the oat mixture.
- Pour the peanut butter mixture over the dry ingredients and stir until combined.
- Press the mixture firmly into the pan and refrigerate for 1 hour to set.
- Lift the bars out of the pan using the parchment paper, slice, and serve.
