Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 350°F and lightly grease a 9 x 13 inch pan.
- Sift together the flour, baking powder, salt, and cinnamon, then set aside.
- In a large bowl, beat together the butter, brown sugar, eggs, and vanilla until smooth.
- Stir in the flour mixture until well combined, then fold in the cinnamon chips.
- Spread the mixture evenly in the prepared pan.
- In a small bowl, combine the white sugar and cinnamon, then sprinkle it over the top of the batter.
- Bake for 25 minutes or until the surface springs back when gently pressed.
- Cool slightly, then cut into bars while still warm.
