The water

  • 3 inches water

Instructions

  1. Use a medium-sized pot and add 3 inches of water.
  2. Bring the water to a boil.
  3. Gently lower the eggs into the boiling water with a spoon.
  4. Reduce the heat to medium to maintain a simmer.
  5. Cook the eggs for 15 minutes for hard boiled eggs.
  6. Remove the eggs from the water with a spoon and let them cool on a plate for 5-10 minutes.
  7. Crack the shells on the counter and peel the eggs.
