Ingredients

The batter

  • ½ cup flour (all-purpose, buckwheat or chickpea)
  • ½ cup water
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon fine sea salt

The cauliflower

  • 1 pound cauliflower florets

The sauce

  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • cup hot sauce
  • 1 tablespoon honey

Instructions

  1. In a large bowl, mix flour, water, garlic powder, and salt to create a smooth batter.
  2. Cut cauliflower into florets of similar size.
  3. Coat the cauliflower florets in the batter.
  4. Arrange the battered cauliflower in a single layer in the air fryer basket.
  5. Cook at 375ºF for 10 minutes until golden and dry.
  6. While cooking, combine olive oil, hot sauce, and honey in a bowl.
  7. Once the first batch is cooked, toss it with the hot sauce mixture.
  8. Return the coated cauliflower to the air fryer and cook for an additional 5 minutes.
  9. Serve warm with your favorite dip and sliced vegetables.
