Ingredients

The butter

  • 3 cups Irish cream

Optional seasoning

  • to taste Flaky sea salt

Instructions

  1. Pour the Irish cream into a chilled container.
  2. Churn the cream by hand or shake it in a jar until it thickens and separates into butterfat solids and buttermilk.
  3. Strain the mixture through cheesecloth to separate the butter from the buttermilk.
  4. Knead the butter to release excess water and achieve a smooth consistency.
  5. Optionally, add flaky sea salt to taste while kneading.
