Instructions
- Pour the Irish cream into a chilled container.
- Churn the cream by hand or shake it in a jar until it thickens and separates into butterfat solids and buttermilk.
- Strain the mixture through cheesecloth to separate the butter from the buttermilk.
- Knead the butter to release excess water and achieve a smooth consistency.
- Optionally, add flaky sea salt to taste while kneading.
