Ingredients

The milk

  • 1 cup raw almonds, soaked overnight
  • cups filtered water

Optional sweeteners

  • 2 tablespoons maple syrup
  • 1 teaspoon pure vanilla extract

Instructions

  1. Soak the almonds overnight in water.
  2. Drain the soaked almonds and place them in a blender with filtered water.
  3. Blend for 30 seconds to 1 minute until creamy.
  4. Strain the blended mixture using a nut milk bag over a bowl, squeezing out as much liquid as possible.
  5. If desired, stir in maple syrup and vanilla extract.
