Dark Chocolate Sea Salt Almonds

The chocolate coating

bittersweet or semi-sweet high quality chocolate
The almonds

whole almonds (raw and unsalted)
The toppings

coarse sea salt or flaky sea salt

turbinado sugar (or any coarse/raw sugar)
Instructions
- Line a baking sheet with parchment paper or a silicone baking mat.
- Melt the chocolate using a double boiler or microwave in 30-second increments until smooth.
- Stir the almonds into the melted chocolate to coat them.
- Lift the almonds out individually or in small batches to release excess chocolate.
- Place the coated almonds on the prepared baking sheet.
- Sprinkle with sea salt and turbinado sugar, then let the chocolate set.
