Ingredients

  • 10 ounces frozen cherries
  • 8 ounces frozen blueberries
  • 1 cup apple juice
  • teaspoon stevia
  • 1 tablespoon arrowroot powder
  • ¼ cup water

Instructions

  1. In a saucepan, combine cherries, blueberries, apple juice, and stevia, bringing to a boil over medium heat.
  2. Reduce heat and simmer for about 10 minutes until the fruit is soft.
  3. In a small bowl, dissolve arrowroot powder in water, stirring until combined.
  4. Increase heat to high, add the arrowroot mixture to the fruit, and cook while whisking until thickened and glossy, about 1 minute.
  5. Allow the sauce to cool and thicken for 10 minutes before serving.
  6. Use immediately or store in a glass jar in the refrigerator for up to 3 days.
