Ingredients

  • cups all-purpose flour, plus more for dusting
  • 4 large eggs, at room temperature
  • 2 teaspoons pure vanilla extract
  • ¾ teaspoon baking powder
  • ¼ teaspoon salt
  • 2 sticks unsalted butter, softened
  • cups sugar
  • 13 oz Nutella

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 325°F (160°C) and grease a 9-by-5-inch loaf pan.
  2. In a measuring cup, beat the eggs with vanilla.
  3. In a bowl, whisk together flour, baking powder, and salt.
  4. In a large bowl, beat the butter and sugar until fluffy.
  5. Gradually mix in the egg mixture until incorporated.
  6. Add the flour mixture in three batches, mixing until just combined.
  7. Spread one-third of the batter in the pan, layer half of the Nutella, and repeat with another third of the batter and the remaining Nutella.
  8. Top with the remaining batter and lightly swirl the Nutella into the batter.
  9. Bake for about 1 hour and 15 minutes until a toothpick comes out clean.
  10. Cool in the pan for 15 minutes, then invert onto a wire rack and cool completely for about 2 hours before slicing.
