Chocolate Baked Donuts

Ingredients

The donuts

  • 2 pieces eggs
  • 1 cup almond butter
  • ¼ cup honey
  • ¼ teaspoon vanilla stevia
  • ½ teaspoon baking soda
  • ½ teaspoon sea salt
  • 3 tablespoons organic cocoa powder
  • 1 tablespoon coconut flour
  • ¾ to 1 cup coconut milk

The frosting

  • ½ cup dairy-free chocolate chips
  • ½ teaspoon coconut oil

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F.
  2. Blend all the donut ingredients until smooth, adjusting the coconut milk for desired thickness.
  3. Grease the donut pan with oil.
  4. Pour the batter into the donut wells, filling them almost to the top.
  5. Bake for about 12 minutes, then let cool in the pan for at least 20 minutes.
  6. Loosen the donuts with a spoon and remove them from the pan.
  7. Prepare the frosting by melting the chocolate chips and coconut oil together.
  8. Dip the tops of the cooled donuts into the chocolate frosting.
