Flourless Chocolate Donuts

The Chocolate Glaze

powdered sugar

milk

desired topping (crushed almonds, sprinkles, etc.)
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 350°F and spray a 6-count donut pan with cooking spray.
- In a medium bowl, whisk together the eggs, sugar, melted butter, almond butter, and vanilla.
- Sift in the cocoa powder, baking powder, and baking soda, then add the salt and mix well.
- Divide the batter among the 6 donut cavities, smoothing the tops.
- Bake for 12-15 minutes or until a toothpick comes out clean.
- Let the donuts cool for at least 10 minutes before removing them from the pan.
- For the glaze, sift together the powdered sugar and cocoa powder, then add vanilla and milk until the desired consistency is reached.
- Dip the top of each donut into the glaze and sprinkle with toppings before letting them set.
