Ingredients

The Chicken

  • lb Boneless skinless chicken thighs
  • 1 tsp Sea salt
  • ¼ tsp Black pepper
  • ¼ tsp Smoked paprika
  • 1 tbsp Olive oil

The Sauce

  • 1 tbsp Unsalted butter
  • 6 cloves Garlic (peeled and sliced thinly)
  • ¾ cup Chicken broth, reduced sodium
  • ½ cup White cooking wine
  • 1 medium Bay leaf
  • ½ cup Heavy cream

Instructions

  1. Pat the chicken dry and season with salt, pepper, and smoked paprika.
  2. Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium-high heat and sear the chicken until browned and cooked through, about 5 to 7 minutes per side.
  3. Remove chicken from the pan, cover with foil to keep warm, and set aside.
  4. Reduce heat to low, melt butter in the pan, and sauté the sliced garlic for 1-2 minutes until fragrant, avoiding browning.
  5. Add broth and wine to the pan, scraping the bottom to de-glaze, and add the bay leaf.
  6. Bring to a gentle boil, then reduce heat and simmer until the liquid is reduced by half, about 10 minutes.
  7. Reduce heat to low, add cream, and heat until warm, without boiling.
  8. Remove bay leaf, return chicken to the pan, and spoon the creamy garlic sauce over it.
