Creamy Garlic Butter Chicken

The sauce

garlic, minced

yellow onion, diced

white wine

heavy whipping cream

baby spinach leaves

sweet red mini pepper

Italian seasoning

grated Parmesan cheese

cornstarch, mixed with 1 tablespoon water
Instructions
- Rinse and trim the chicken thighs, then pat them dry and season with salt and pepper.
- Heat olive oil in a frying pan and cook the chicken for 5 minutes on each side until cooked through, then set aside.
- In the same pan, melt the butter and sauté the garlic and onion until golden brown.
- Add white wine and heavy cream to the pan, reduce heat and bring to a simmer.
- Stir in spinach and mini pepper, then add Italian seasoning and Parmesan cheese, seasoning to taste.
- If desired, thicken the sauce with a cornstarch slurry.
- Return the chicken to the pan and simmer for a few more minutes to absorb the flavors.
- Serve immediately.
