Creamy Garlic Chicken

Instructions
- Combine flour and parmesan cheese in a shallow bowl.
- Split and pound chicken breasts to 4-6 ounce portions, then season with salt and pepper.
- Dredge the chicken in the flour mixture.
- Heat olive oil and butter in a skillet over medium-high heat, then cook the chicken until golden brown on both sides.
- Remove chicken and keep warm, then add chopped onion to the skillet and cook until softened.
- Smash garlic cloves and add them to the pan, cooking until fragrant.
- Add chicken broth, scraping the bottom of the pan, and simmer until reduced by half.
- Lower heat and stir in heavy cream, bringing to a gentle simmer.
- Add parmesan cheese and stir until melted, then return chicken to the pan.
- Simmer until the sauce thickens and chicken reaches an internal temperature of 165°F.
- Season sauce to taste and garnish with parsley before serving.
