Instructions
- Prepare the watermelon and place it in a large bowl.
- In a small bowl, whisk together tamari, rice wine vinegar, spicy sesame oil, maple syrup, lime juice and zest, grated ginger, and spices.
- Pour the marinade over the watermelon and mix well.
- Allow the watermelon to marinate for at least 30 minutes.
- For the aioli, mix mayonnaise and black garlic hot sauce in a small bowl until combined.
- Heat avocado oil in a large pan over medium-high heat.
- Fry wonton wrappers in batches until golden and crispy, flipping halfway through.
- To serve, place aioli on a plate, top with a crispy wonton, add watermelon poke, and garnish with sesame seeds.
