Instructions
- Whisk together the flour, cocoa powder, baking soda, and salt.
- Beat the butter, brown sugar, and granulated sugar until creamy, then add the egg and vanilla extract.
- Mix in the dry ingredients, milk, and food coloring until combined. Chill the dough for at least 2 hours.
- Preheat the oven to 350°F (177°C) and prepare baking sheets.
- Roll the dough into balls, coat in sugar, and place on the baking sheet.
- Bake for 11-13 minutes until edges are set and centers are soft.
- Press a Hershey’s Kiss into the center of each cookie and freeze for 10 minutes to set the chocolate.
