Instructions
- Whisk together flour, cocoa powder, and salt in a bowl.
- Cream butter and powdered sugar until well combined.
- Mix in red food coloring, vanilla, and lemon juice, then blend in the dry mixture.
- Chill the dough until firm enough to handle.
- Divide the dough into two portions and shape each into a log, then chill again.
- Preheat the oven and prepare baking sheets.
- Slice the chilled dough logs into even pieces and bake until nearly set.
- Cool the cookies and then dip them in melted white chocolate.
- Decorate with sprinkles if desired and let the chocolate set in the fridge.
