Instructions
- Brine the chicken breasts in a mixture of water and sea salt for 10 minutes at room temperature or up to 24 hours in the refrigerator.
- Drain the brine, rinse the chicken, and pat dry.
- Preheat the oven to 450°F (232°C).
- Place the chicken in a baking dish and brush both sides with olive oil.
- Season both sides of the chicken with Italian seasoning, garlic powder, sea salt, paprika, and black pepper.
- Bake the chicken for 18-22 minutes until firm and no longer pink, with an internal temperature of 160-165°F (71-74°C).
- Cover with foil and let rest for 5 minutes before serving.
