Instructions
- Prepare the dipping sauce by mixing its ingredients in a small bowl and set aside.
- In another bowl, combine the seasoning sauce ingredients and set aside.
- Wash and dry the butterhead lettuce leaves, then set aside.
- Heat oil in a skillet over medium heat and add ginger, stir-frying for half a minute.
- Add the diced tofu, shiitake mushrooms, jicama, and salt, stir-frying until golden brown for about 5 minutes.
- Stir in the red peppers and the seasoning sauce mix, cooking for another minute.
- Transfer the filling to a serving bowl.
- Assemble the wraps by spooning the filling onto each lettuce leaf, adding a teaspoon of dipping sauce, and garnishing with cilantro and fried vermicelli if desired.
