Juicy Broiled Pork Chops

Ingredients

The seasoning

  • 1 tsp chili powder
  • 1 tsp garlic powder
  • 1 tsp onion powder
  • 1 tsp coconut sugar
  • 1 tsp paprika
  • 1 tsp sea salt
  • ½ tsp pepper

The pork chops

  • 4 pieces bone-in pork chops (about 1.5 inches thick)
  • 2 tbsp olive oil

Instructions

  1. Adjust the oven rack to be about 9 inches away from the heating element.
  2. Set the oven to broil on high and let it heat up.
  3. Combine the seasoning ingredients in a small bowl.
  4. Drizzle oil over each pork chop and rub it on both sides.
  5. Season both sides of the pork chops with the seasoning mix.
  6. Place the pork chops in the oven and broil for 7-8 minutes per side, flipping halfway.
  7. If not fully cooked after 8 minutes per side, continue cooking and flip every 2 minutes until they reach an internal temperature of 145°F.
  8. Remove from the oven and let the pork chops rest for 3-5 minutes before serving.
