Ingredients

The pork chops

  • 4 12-oz Bone-in pork chops (at least 1 inch thick; or boneless pork chops work too)

The marinade

  • ¼ cup Olive oil
  • ¼ cup Coconut aminos (or low-sodium soy sauce)
  • 2 tbsp Honey (or sugar-free honey substitute)
  • 2 tbsp Apple cider vinegar
  • 2 cloves Garlic (minced)
  • 1 tsp Paprika
  • 1 tsp Onion powder
  • 1 tsp Sea salt
  • 1 tsp Black pepper

Instructions

  1. Whisk together olive oil, coconut aminos, honey, apple cider vinegar, minced garlic, paprika, onion powder, sea salt, and black pepper.
  2. Place the pork chops in a large zip lock bag and pour the marinade over them, ensuring they are evenly coated.
  3. Seal the bag and refrigerate for at least 2 hours or up to overnight.
  4. Remove the pork chops from the marinade and let them sit at room temperature while preheating the grill.
  5. Preheat the grill to medium-high heat (400-450 degrees F) for at least 10 minutes.
  6. Place the pork chops over direct heat and grill for about 9-13 minutes for bone-in chops, flipping every few minutes until the internal temperature reaches 140 degrees F.
  7. Remove from the grill and let the pork chops rest for 5 minutes before serving.
