Ingredients

The flatbreads

  • 2 pieces Flatout Light Original Flatbreads

The filling

  • 5 oz raw 95% lean ground beef
  • 2 tablespoons frozen corn kernels
  • 2 tablespoons water
  • 1 tablespoon taco seasoning
  • 4 pieces grape tomatoes, chopped
  • 1 ½ oz 50% reduced fat sharp cheddar cheese, shredded
  • ½ - 1 cup shredded lettuce

The toppings

  • 2 tablespoons taco sauce

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F.
  2. Cook the ground beef in a skillet over medium heat until browned, breaking it into small pieces.
  3. Add the corn and cook for another minute.
  4. Stir in the water and taco seasoning, then remove from heat.
  5. Place the flatbreads on the oven rack and bake for about 4 minutes until firm.
  6. Spread taco sauce on each flatbread, leaving space around the edges.
  7. Top with the beef mixture and half of the chopped tomatoes.
  8. Sprinkle cheddar cheese on top and return to the oven for another 5 minutes until cheese is melted.
  9. Add shredded lettuce and remaining tomatoes on top before slicing and serving.
