Ingredients

  • 1 large butternut squash
  • 1 tbsp neutral-flavored oil (peanut, vegetable, or canola)
  • 1 tsp sriracha
  • to taste salt

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 425°F.
  2. In a large bowl, whisk together the oil and sriracha.
  3. Add the butternut squash fries to the bowl and toss to coat, using your hands for best results.
  4. Transfer the fries onto a rimmed baking sheet and arrange them in a single layer.
  5. Sprinkle with salt.
  6. Bake for 20 minutes, then flip the fries over and sprinkle with additional salt.
  7. Bake for another 20 minutes or until the fries are tender and browned on the edges.
