Instructions
- Chill the cookie dough for at least 3 hours or overnight.
- In a large bowl, beat the softened butter, granulated sugar, and brown sugar until fluffy.
- Add the egg and vanilla extract, mixing until combined.
- In a separate bowl, whisk together the flour, both cocoa powders, baking soda, and salt.
- Gradually mix the dry ingredients into the wet ingredients until combined.
- Add the milk and chocolate chunks, mixing until the dough is sticky.
- Let the dough sit at room temperature for 10-20 minutes before scooping.
- Preheat the oven to 350°F (177°C) and line baking sheets with parchment paper.
- Scoop the dough into balls and place them on the baking sheets, spacing them apart.
- Sprinkle each ball with sea salt before baking.
- Bake for 11-12 minutes until the edges are set and the centers are soft.
- Cool on the baking sheet for 5 minutes before transferring to a cooling rack.
