Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C) and line two baking sheets with parchment paper.
- In a bowl, mix together the all-purpose flour, whole-wheat flour, baking powder, and baking soda.
- In a stand mixer, cream the cold butter, brown sugar, and granulated sugar until smooth.
- Add the eggs and vanilla to the mixture and beat for two minutes.
- Gradually mix in the flour mixture until combined, then gently fold in the chocolate chips.
- Divide the dough into 12 balls and place them on the baking sheets, leaving space between each.
- Sprinkle each dough ball with flaky sea salt and chill in the refrigerator overnight or freeze for 15-20 minutes.
- Bake the cookies for 20-22 minutes until the edges are golden brown.
- Let the cookies cool on the baking sheet for 5 minutes before transferring them to a wire rack.
