Salted Whole Wheat Chocolate Chip Cookies

Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 350°F.
- Cream together the softened butter and cane sugar until light and fluffy.
- Add the egg and vanilla, mixing until combined.
- In a separate bowl, combine the flour, cornstarch, baking soda, and salt, then add to the butter mixture and mix until combined.
- Fold in the chocolate chips by hand.
- Shape the dough into balls and place them on a parchment-covered baking sheet.
- Chill the dough in the refrigerator for at least 10-20 minutes.
- Bake for 10-12 minutes until the edges are set, and sprinkle with sea salt immediately after removing from the oven.
- Let cool on the baking sheet for 5 minutes before transferring to a wire rack.
