Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 375°F.
- Mix the dry ingredients (flour, baking soda, salt) in a small bowl.
- In a separate bowl, cream the butter using an electric mixer until slightly cold.
- Add the egg, both sugars, and vanilla to the butter and mix well.
- Gradually add the flour mixture to the butter mixture while mixing on low speed.
- Stir in the chocolate chips with a spatula.
- Chill the batter for 10-15 minutes if possible.
- Spoon batter onto an ungreased cookie sheet and bake for 7-9 minutes.
- Transfer cookies to a cooling rack and enjoy.
