Ingredients

Dry Ingredients

  • 1 cup whole wheat flour
  • cup almond flour
  • 2 Tbsp cornstarch
  • 2 Tbsp white sugar
  • 2 Tbsp light brown sugar
  • 1 tsp baking powder
  • ½ tsp baking soda
  • ½ tsp salt

Wet Ingredients

  • ½ cup almond butter
  • ¼ cup milk of choice
  • 2 Tbsp water
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract

Add-ins

  • cup chocolate chips

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F.
  2. Line two cookie sheet trays with parchment paper.
  3. In a large bowl, whisk together the dry ingredients.
  4. In a separate bowl, combine the wet ingredients.
  5. Add the wet mixture to the dry ingredients and stir until just combined.
  6. Fold in the chocolate chips.
  7. Scoop out 2 tablespoons of dough, roll into a ball, and place on the cookie sheet, pressing down slightly.
  8. Refrigerate the trays for about 30 minutes.
  9. Bake for 7-10 minutes until the edges are golden brown.
  10. Allow to cool slightly before transferring to a wire rack.
