Instructions
- Line two cookie sheet trays with parchment paper.
- In a large bowl, whisk together the dry ingredients: whole wheat flour, almond flour, cornstarch, sugars, baking powder, baking soda, and salt.
- In a separate bowl, mix the wet ingredients: almond butter, milk, water, and vanilla extract.
- Combine the wet ingredients with the dry ingredients and stir until just mixed, then fold in the chocolate chips.
- Scoop out 2 tablespoons of dough, roll into a ball, and place on the cookie sheet, pressing down slightly.
- Continue placing cookies about 2 inches apart, aiming for about 6 cookies per tray.
- Chill the trays in the fridge for about 30 minutes.
- Preheat the oven to 350°F.
- Bake the cookies for 7-10 minutes until the edges are golden brown and the center is still soft.
- Allow cookies to cool slightly on the tray before transferring to a wire rack.
