Ingredients

  • cups almond flour
  • ¼ cup coconut flour
  • ½ teaspoon baking soda
  • ½ teaspoon salt
  • 3 tablespoons butter, softened
  • ¼ cup almond butter
  • 1 large egg
  • cup cane sugar
  • 2 tablespoons maple syrup
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • ¾ cup chocolate chips
  • to taste none flaky sea salt

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F.
  2. Cream together the butter, almond butter, egg, sugar, maple syrup, and vanilla extract until smooth.
  3. In a separate bowl, whisk together the almond flour, coconut flour, baking soda, and salt.
  4. Combine the wet and dry ingredients and mix until fully combined, then fold in the chocolate chips.
  5. Drop 1-inch cookie dough balls onto a lined baking sheet and flatten slightly.
  6. Bake for 13 to 15 minutes until golden and edges are crisp.
  7. Let cool on the baking sheet for 5 minutes before transferring to a wire rack.
