Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 350°F.
- Sift together the flour, baking soda, baking powder, and salt in a medium bowl and set aside.
- Cream the sugars with the softened butter using a mixer for about two minutes.
- Add the egg, vanilla, and milk, and mix until smooth.
- Slowly add the dry ingredients to the wet ingredients on low speed until just combined.
- Stir in the oats and chocolate chips by hand.
- Form rounded cookie dough balls using about 1 tablespoon of dough and place them on a lined cookie sheet.
- Bake for 11-12 minutes until lightly golden around the edges, then let them sit on the cookie sheet for a couple of minutes before transferring to a cooling rack.
