Ingredients

The pretzels

  • 1 bag (12–16 ounces) hard pretzels

The seasoning

  • ¾ cup oil (vegetable or olive)
  • Tablespoons lemon pepper
  • 2 teaspoons garlic powder
  • 2 teaspoons dried dill weed
  • optional additional spices

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 200°F (93°C) and prepare a baking sheet.
  2. Break the pretzels into pieces and place them in a large zipped-top bag or bowl.
  3. Add the oil and spices to the pretzels and mix well to ensure they are evenly coated.
  4. Spread the pretzels on the prepared baking sheet in a single layer.
  5. Bake for 50 minutes, stirring every 15 minutes.
  6. Allow the pretzels to cool completely before serving.
