Easy Homemade Soft Pretzels

Instructions
- Whisk yeast into warm water and let sit for 1 minute, then mix in salt, brown sugar, and melted butter.
- Gradually add flour, mixing until the dough is thick and not sticky.
- Knead the dough for about 5 minutes until soft and slightly tacky.
- Shape the dough into a ball, cover, and let rest for 10 minutes.
- Preheat the oven to 400°F (204°C) and prepare baking sheets.
- Cut the dough into 1/3-cup sections and roll each into a 20–22-inch rope, shaping into pretzels.
- Boil water and baking soda, then boil each pretzel for 20–30 seconds before placing on baking sheets.
- Sprinkle with coarse salt and bake for 12–15 minutes until golden brown.
- Serve warm, optionally with spicy nacho cheese sauce.
