Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 425°F and prepare two baking sheets with parchment paper.
- In a large bowl, combine warm water, yeast, and honey; let sit until foamy.
- Stir in kosher salt and gradually add the white whole wheat and all-purpose flour until the dough is smooth.
- Knead the dough for about 5 minutes and let it rise in a greased bowl for 30 minutes.
- Divide the dough into pieces, roll each into a rope, and shape into pretzels.
- Dip each pretzel in an egg wash and place on the prepared baking sheet.
- Bake for 10 minutes until golden brown, then brush with melted butter and add toppings.
