Ingredients

The filling

  • ½ pound Kalua pork (or smoked pulled pork)
  • 40 pieces Wonton wrappers
  • to taste none Garlic olive oil

The sauces

  • cup Sweet Chili Sauce (like Mae Ploy)
  • ½ cup Mayonnaise
  • teaspoon Prepared wasabi
  • 1 teaspoon Soy sauce
  • ¼ teaspoon Ginger powder
  • ½ teaspoon Minced garlic

For garnish

  • 1 bunch Thinly sliced green onions

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 400°F and prepare a baking sheet with parchment paper brushed with garlic olive oil.
  2. Chop the Kalua pork into small pieces.
  3. Place 2 teaspoons of pork in one corner of each wonton wrapper, leaving a margin.
  4. Wet the edges of the wrapper with water, fold over to seal, and place on the baking sheet.
  5. Brush the filled wontons with garlic olive oil.
  6. Bake for 10-12 minutes until golden brown and crispy.
  7. While baking, whisk together the mayonnaise, wasabi, soy sauce, ginger, and garlic in a Ziploc bag.
  8. Place the sweet chili sauce in another Ziploc bag.
  9. Once the wontons are done, transfer them to a serving platter and drizzle the sauces over them.
  10. Sprinkle with green onions and serve immediately.
