Instructions
- Bring a pot of salted water to a boil.
- Add the dry polenta to the boiling water while stirring.
- Reduce heat to medium-low and cook the polenta for 20-25 minutes, stirring frequently until thick.
- Add any desired seasonings or mix-ins like cheese or herbs.
- Pour the cooked polenta into a well-oiled mold and let it cool for 10 minutes.
- Unmold the polenta and slice into 1-2 inch thick pieces.
- Serve immediately or pan-fry, bake, or grill until golden brown.
