Marinated Summer Caprese Salad

Instructions
- Prepare the marinade by whisking together olive oil, balsamic vinegar, minced garlic, chopped basil, onion powder, oregano, red pepper flakes, salt, and pepper in a small bowl or jar.
- In a large bowl, combine the sliced tomatoes and mozzarella balls, then drizzle the marinade over them.
- Toss everything together until well coated, cover with plastic wrap, and refrigerate to marinate for at least 2 hours or up to overnight.
- Before serving, take the salad out of the fridge 30 minutes to an hour prior to allow it to come to room temperature.
- Add more fresh basil and adjust seasonings as needed before serving.
