Caprese Salad

The salad

The dressing

extra virgin olive oil

balsamic glaze
Instructions
- Make the basil oil and/or balsamic glaze if using.
- Slice the mozzarella into ¼-inch slices.
- Slice the tomatoes into ¼-inch slices or halve them if using cherry tomatoes.
- Spread a layer of basil oil on a platter, then layer the tomatoes and mozzarella.
- Tuck in the basil leaves and season with salt and pepper.
- Drizzle with olive oil, basil oil, and balsamic glaze before serving.
