Ingredients

The slaw

  • 1 12 oz bag shaved Brussels sprouts
  • ¼ cup apple cider vinegar
  • 1 strip bacon, chopped
  • ¼ cup pecans, chopped
  • Salt, pepper to taste

The dressing

  • cup honey
  • cup grainy mustard
  • 1 tbsp ground ginger

Instructions

  1. Smoke the Brussels sprout slaw at 250 degrees for 20 minutes on two frog mats and then remove.
  2. While the slaw is smoking, combine the honey, grainy mustard, and ground ginger.
  3. Add the smoked slaw to the honey mustard mixture and ensure it is evenly coated.
  4. Let the slaw marinate in the refrigerator for at least 2 hours before serving.
  5. Add the chopped bacon and pecans right before serving to keep them from becoming soggy.
