Instructions
- For stovetop method, combine coconut milk and water in a pot, bring to a boil.
- Add steel-cut oats, stir, reduce heat to low, and simmer covered for 30 to 40 minutes, stirring occasionally.
- For a porridge-like consistency, stir in additional water after cooking.
- Portion into bowls and top with desired garnishes.
- For Instant Pot method, add coconut milk, water, and oats to the pot, stir, and secure the lid.
- Set to pressure cook on high for 7 minutes, then allow for natural pressure release for 10 minutes.
- Release remaining steam, stir the oatmeal, and add more milk or water if desired.
- Portion into bowls and top with desired garnishes.
