Ingredients

The vegetables

  • 3 crowns broccoli

The sauce

  • 2 Tbsp vegetable oil
  • 1 tsp sesame oil
  • Tbsp sambal
  • 1 tsp brown sugar
  • 1-2 cloves garlic, minced
  • to taste salt

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 425°F.
  2. Cut the broccoli into bite-sized pieces.
  3. In a large bowl, combine vegetable oil, sesame oil, sambal, garlic, and brown sugar, mixing well.
  4. Add the broccoli florets to the bowl and stir until evenly coated.
  5. Spread the broccoli on a baking sheet and sprinkle with salt.
  6. Roast in the oven for 25 minutes until the broccoli is softened but still crisp.
