Sautéed Broccoli

Ingredients

  • 2 tablespoons extra virgin olive oil
  • 4 cups broccoli florets
  • 4-6 cloves garlic, chopped
  • ¼ cup water
  • to taste salt
  • to taste pepper

Instructions

  1. Heat olive oil in a large sauté pan over medium heat.
  2. Add garlic with a pinch of salt and sauté until fragrant for about 30-60 seconds.
  3. Add broccoli to the pan, season with salt and pepper, and sauté for 2 to 3 minutes.
  4. Add in ¼ cup of water, cover with a lid, and cook for another 3 to 5 minutes until the broccoli is tender.
  5. Remove the lid and cook until any extra water has evaporated.
  6. Adjust seasonings, serve, and enjoy.
