Instructions
- Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat until shimmering.
- Add broccoli florets and season with sea salt and black pepper, stirring to coat.
- Cook uncovered for 2 minutes.
- Add water and cover the skillet, reducing heat to medium.
- Stir every 1 to 2 minutes until broccoli is tender-crisp and lightly charred, about 5 minutes.
- Uncover and cook for another 2 minutes until lightly charred.
- Add minced garlic and red pepper flakes, stirring constantly for about 30 seconds.
- Squeeze lemon juice over the broccoli and add lemon zest, tossing gently before serving.
