Sautéed Broccolini

Ingredients

  • 2 tablespoons extra-virgin olive oil
  • 3 cloves garlic
  • ¼ teaspoon red pepper flakes
  • 1 bunch broccolini
  • ¼ teaspoon sea salt
  • 2 tablespoons water
  • 2 teaspoons fresh lemon juice

Instructions

  1. Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium heat.
  2. Add thinly sliced garlic and red pepper flakes, cooking for 30 seconds.
  3. Add broccolini and salt, tossing to combine.
  4. Cook for 2 minutes, tossing occasionally.
  5. Add water, cover the pan, and reduce heat to medium-low.
  6. Cook for 3 to 5 minutes until tender and bright green.
  7. Remove from heat and toss with lemon juice, seasoning to taste.
