Ingredients

The Chicken Wings

  • 3 lbs chicken wings
  • 2 tablespoons canola oil
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • ½ teaspoon onion powder
  • ½ teaspoon smoked paprika
  • ½ teaspoon sea salt
  • ¼ teaspoon ground black pepper

The Honey BBQ Sauce

  • cups BBQ sauce
  • ¼ cup honey
  • 2 tablespoons stone ground mustard
  • 2 teaspoons sriracha sauce

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 400°F and prepare a baking sheet with a wire rack or line it with tin foil.
  2. Pat the chicken wings dry in a large bowl.
  3. Drizzle the wings with canola oil and add garlic powder, onion powder, smoked paprika, sea salt, and pepper. Toss to coat.
  4. Place the wings on the prepared baking sheet and bake for 40 minutes, flipping halfway through.
  5. Turn the broiler on to high and broil the wings for 8-10 minutes until browned.
  6. Meanwhile, heat a saucepan over medium heat and combine BBQ sauce, honey, stone ground mustard, and sriracha. Simmer for 2 minutes.
  7. Remove the wings from the oven and place them in a large bowl. Pour the honey BBQ sauce over the wings and toss to coat.
  8. Serve hot, optionally garnished with chopped chives.
