Ingredients

The Chicken Wings

  • 4 lbs chicken wings
  • 1 tablespoon canola oil

The Dry Rub

  • 1 tablespoon Smoky Chipotle Spice Rub

The Sweet & Spicy BBQ Sauce

  • cups favorite BBQ sauce
  • ¼ cup honey
  • 2 tablespoons dijon mustard
  • 2 teaspoons sriracha sauce
  • ½ teaspoon smoked paprika

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 400°F.
  2. Pat the chicken wings dry and place them in a large bowl.
  3. Drizzle with canola oil and sprinkle with Smoky Chipotle Spice Rub, then toss to coat.
  4. Arrange the chicken on a wire rack over a baking sheet.
  5. Bake for 40 minutes, flipping the wings halfway through.
  6. Switch the oven to broil on high and broil the wings for 8-10 minutes until browned.
  7. In a saucepan, combine BBQ sauce, honey, dijon mustard, smoked paprika, and sriracha; simmer for 2 minutes.
  8. Remove the wings from the oven and toss them in the BBQ sauce mixture.
  9. Serve immediately, optionally garnished with chopped green onions.
