Instructions
- Prepare the artichokes by removing small outer leaves and cutting the stem, then cut the top off to expose the inside.
- Rinse the artichokes and pat dry, then rub lemon on the cut surface to prevent browning.
- Add water to the inner liner of the Instant Pot and add optional aromatics.
- Place the trivet into the pot and add the artichokes stem side up.
- Close the lid, set the steam release knob to sealing, and select the cook time based on the size of the artichokes.
- After cooking, do a quick release of the steam or let it naturally release for softer artichokes.
- Check if the artichokes are done by sliding a knife into the bottom.
