Low Carb Mozzarella Sticks

Instructions
- Cut the mozzarella sticks in half.
- Beat the egg in a small bowl until mixed.
- In another bowl, combine the Parmesan cheese, basil, and garlic powder.
- Dip each mozzarella piece into the Parmesan mixture, then into the egg, and back into the Parmesan.
- Place the coated mozzarella sticks on a parchment-lined baking sheet.
- Freeze the baking sheets for 1 hour.
- Preheat the oven to 400°F.
- Bake the frozen mozzarella sticks for 8-10 minutes, flipping halfway through.
- Serve hot with tomato sauce if desired.
